Dongo hotels are very few in number, as Dongo is primarily a residential and industrial town offering less in the way of attractions for tourists compared to other Lake Como towns.

There are however numerous, important churches of significant, historical value and, of course, the fact that the dictator Mussolini was captured here while trying to run away with his mistress to Switzerland.
