Built as a summer house in 1962, the hotel was renovated in 2006 to offer a tranquil escape with beautiful views. Most of the 20 rooms have their own balcony, so you can enjoy your own views over the famous lake. Constructed over 3 floors, each room is comfortably reached by a lift and one room has been specially designed to accommodate for disabled guests.

The tastefully furnished rooms are equipped with all modern comforts, including air conditioning and flat-screen TV, to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

Location Description: Tremezzina (a union of the towns Colonno, Ossuccio, Lenno, Tremezzo und Griante) extends over the west shore of Lake Como, directly opposite Bellagio. The area boasts a mild climate and lush vegetation.

Since Roman times this small part of Italy has been known for its eternal spring. The tranquil gardens, the olive and myrtle trees surrounding noble residences and the many picturesque towns along the lake frame the pretty Lake Como.

Tremezzo is less than one hour’s drive from Milan. It is accessible by public transport and also by steamboats, hydrofoils and private water taxis. Car ferries run on a regular basis.

Rooms: The hotel is located in a peaceful part of Tremezzina and has 20 rooms with lakeside views. They are constructed on 3 floors, comfortably reached by a lift. The majority of the rooms have their own balcony.

The tastefully furnished rooms are equipped with: air conditioning, hairdryer, direct dial phone, flat-screen satellite TV, safety-deposit box and minibar.

There is one room available which is specially designed for disabled guests.

Transportation: By Car:
From Milan:
- From the A9 motorway take the Como Nord exit and proceed along the SS340 main road towards Menaggio, which is about 25 km away.
- On arrival in Tremezzo, turn left towards Intignano (100 metres past the church).
- Follow the road for about 1.5 km and you will arrive at the hotel on the left-hand side.

From Lugano:
- From the A2 motorway take the Lugano Nord exit and follow the signs leading to Gandria.
- Head towards Porlezza and Menaggio.
- Once you arrive at the traffic lights in Menaggio, drive 6 km alongside the lake towards Como.
- Once in Tremezzo, pass the AGIP petrol station and turn right towards Intignano.
- Follow this street for about 1.5 km and you will arrive at the hotel which is on the left-hand side.

By Train:
The nearest railway stations are located in Lugano (Switzerland), about 35 km from Tremezzo, or in Como. Como San Giovanni and Como Nord Lago (Italy) are both about 25 km from Tremezzo. From there the hotel can be reached by taxi, hire car or bus, as well as by boat or hydrofoil from Como.

By Plane:
The nearest airport is in Lugano (Switzerland), about 35 km from Tremezzo. Milan Malpensa Airport is 80 km away, Milan Linate Airport is approximately 90 km and the airport in Bergamo (Orio al Serio) is approximately 120 km away. From there you can reach the Hotel La Perla by means of public transport, taxi or hire car.
