For those landing in Milan Malpensa before their journey through to Lake Como, it makes sense to rest the night in a nearby airport hotel before traveling onwards. Sometimes we rent our car directly from Malpensa airport and drive it to the hotel where we'll be spending the night, because of the convenience of renting at Malpensa (great hours and selection of cars)

The Milan Malpensa airport is about 48 km from the city of Milan and the Milan Linate airport is only 10 km away. Airport hotels abound in the small villages that surround the airport and the quality of these hotels are generally very good. Sometimes bed matresses are not the most soft, Italian air conditioning can be a bit sluggish and many milan airport hotels are located on busy roads, but these minor 'pests' won't ruin your vacation.

Description: Truly a motel with parking in front of each room. Nice rooms and lovely gardens make it a good value for your money. No restaurants or bars within walking distance but friendly staff can help you arrange meals.
