Although there are no motorboat Lake Como rentals, there are numerous other activities and sports available at your leisure such as pedal-boating and a carousel for the kids. Cernobbio is the closest place where you can rent out a motorboat. All Lake Como rentals are generally inexpensive and available aside from the major expeditions like if you plan on renting out a sea aeroplane.
Sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing sports require more space and better wind conditions, so those rentals take place in northern Lake Como towns. Here is a variety of fun recreational activities you can do in the city of Como itself…

Of course, everyone needs a break, a more relaxing one if possible. Breaks always serve as a reward for everyone who works hard for their families, love ones and even for others. And if you are thinking how to have the best breaks that you can have and perhaps for your family also, having a nice vacation always serves as a good one. But there are several criteria for a vacation to be a good one. First is that it should be done in a nice place and most people prefer that it is done in somewhere popular as a travel destination. Next is the presence of different amenities that you and your colleagues can enjoy much in spending your time in that particular place. This would mean the presence of hotels, good accommodations, nice restaurants and friendly people. And if such things are indeed your wants in a nice vacation experience, then choosing Lake Como Italy would be a great idea.

Lake Como is generally not cheap, nor are Italian hotels in general with the rise of the Euro! Most people will pay on average 150 EUR a night for a hotel right on the lake with first class service. The high season in Lake Como lasts from April to October and prices are highest in the summer months of June and July which also gets the most tourists.

However, this does not mean that budget hotels do not exist. In fact, many Italians have decided to convert their homes into mini-hotels, or bed and breakfasts offering cheap rates to visitors who may be interested. So you can do budget Italian travel in style! Also, in the north you can find agriturismos which are farm holiday houses, offering quiet, rural environments for their guests at attractive prices. See bbplanet.it to search for them.

Each town in Lake Como Italy is charming and beautiful in its own way.
We’ve really enjoyed taking the scenic coastal drive, which still follows the ancient Roman route and can take you around the entire lake, hopping from town to town.
